The Winter Session of Parliament commenced on Monday, December 1, and immediately, an unexpected element captured public attention from the very first morning: the distinctive winter fashion selections of numerous MPs making their entrance into Parliament.

Photographs showcasing their attire are now trending across social media, as citizens appear delightfully surprised by the stylish beginning to the session. As the session reaches its fourth day, we examine the politicians who have successfully impressed observers with their fashion choices at Parliament.

Kangana Ranaut has consistently presented traditional ensembles at Parliament, and this time appeared wearing a mango-yellow natural tussar sari featuring a magenta border. To combat the winter chill, the actress-turned-politician complemented her outfit with a lengthy beige trench coat and carried a designer handbag. Her appearance remained simple, traditional, and perfectly suited for winter conditions.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra also received considerable praise for her sari selection. She chose a yellow cotton sari, enhanced with pastel purple, pink, and green tones on the pallu, completed with elegant tassels. She paired this with a contrasting grey blouse, maintaining an overall refined and sophisticated appearance.

Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) MP Chirag Paswan opted for a more casual and contemporary approach. Chirag arrived wearing a white striped kurta with folded sleeves and straight-fit jeans. A grey-and-black printed shawl provided a warm winter accent. His photographs gained viral status within hours of posting.

Priyanka Gandhi maintained her characteristic classic and understated style. She wore a blue sari coupled with a grey shawl, presenting a polished winter look consistent with her typical fashion sense.

Sonia Gandhi selected a magenta sari with a yellow border, combined with a black coat for warmth. This created a refined and timeless winter ensemble.

The session is scheduled to conclude on Friday, December 2025.
