Delhi Implements Extensive Security Measures for Russian President Putin's Two-Day India Visit

The national capital has implemented a comprehensive security grid on Thursday as Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to land in Delhi this evening for his two-day diplomatic visit to India.

Police officials have confirmed that the exact location where the Russian leader will be staying remains confidential due to stringent security protocols.

According to senior police authorities, a collaborative effort involving multiple security units will monitor every movement of Putin from his arrival until his departure.

"We are coordinating on a minute-by-minute basis, and all relevant agencies have been directed to maintain maximum vigilance throughout the visit. More than 5,000 police personnel will be deployed to ensure constant surveillance," stated a senior officer.

High-ranking Delhi Police officials are personally overseeing route security measures, traffic management plans, and thorough sanitization of areas likely included in the Russian president's itinerary.

"All designated routes for VVIP movement have been secured well in advance. We will issue traffic advisories periodically to minimize disruption for commuters. Anti-drone systems will also be operational," explained another official.

A sophisticated multi-layered security arrangement has been established through collaboration between Delhi Police, central agencies, and Putin's personal security detail. This includes strategic positioning of SWAT teams, specialized anti-terror units, trained snipers, and quick-reaction teams at sensitive locations.

The security infrastructure also features high-definition CCTV networks and advanced technical monitoring systems that have been activated throughout areas associated with the presidential visit.

While traffic restrictions and controlled pedestrian movement are anticipated around key venues, officials have assured that advance notifications will be provided to prevent major disruptions for the public.
