Four MBBS students lost their lives instantly when their speeding vehicle collided with a stationary truck (DCM) on the Delhi-Lucknow National Highway in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, officials reported on Thursday.

The tragic incident took place during the late hours of Wednesday night.

According to eyewitnesses, the collision was so severe that the car was completely destroyed, eliminating any possibility of survival for the occupants.

Police promptly arrived at the accident scene after being notified and arranged for the bodies to be sent for post-mortem examination. Forensic experts and law enforcement officers remained at the location throughout the night, analyzing the wreckage and investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.

All four victims were reportedly MBBS students from Venkateshwar University. University officials also visited the accident site. Authorities are working to confirm the identities of the deceased and inform their families.

A team from Rajabpur police station examined the scene, and investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the fatal crash.

In a separate tragic incident the same evening, two young men died in a collision between a truck and a motorcycle on Gajraula National Highway 9 in Amroha at approximately 8:45 p.m., officials stated.

Reports indicate that the deceased, identified as Deepak and Nitin from Sona Khurd village in Lakhimpur Kheri district, were returning home from Gurugram, where they were employed as motorcycle riders, when the accident occurred.

Police arrived at the scene, took custody of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination. Station House Officer Manoj Kumar confirmed the incident, stating that two individuals lost their lives in the road accident.

He added that police have prepared a Panchnama of both bodies, and further legal proceedings are in progress.
