Chaos After Teen Girl, Boyfriend Climb Onto Police Vehicle In Rajasthan, Detained

A legal case has been initiated against a young man for public indecency and absconding with an underage girl.

Chaotic scenes unfolded in Kota, Rajasthan, when a teenage girl and a young man created a significant disturbance by scaling a police vehicle. The event took place on September 19 as law enforcement attempted to detain the pair who were allegedly trying to flee together in the Rampura district. The inebriated 22-year-old man and the 17-year-old girl climbed atop a police jeep, shouting profanities and generating a scene of disorder.

Police reports indicate that the incident stemmed from an ongoing missing person investigation. The adolescent girl had disappeared from her residence, which prompted her family to register a complaint at the Nanta police station on Kota's periphery. Officers from the neighboring Rampura police station, following intelligence information, located the couple in the Rampura area. The young man, identified as a resident of the locality, was with the minor when authorities arrived to bring them in for interrogation.

What ensued was complete mayhem. When officers approached the pair and tried to guide them into the waiting police vehicle for secure transportation to the station, both refused to comply. The young man first helped the girl onto the roof of the vehicle, then ascended himself. The couple began chanting slogans, pounding on the surface, and refused to descend.

Traffic halted as spectators gathered, encouraging police to swiftly address the situation. The uproar continued for approximately ten minutes, during which the girl repeatedly exclaimed, "Let him go."

Law enforcement eventually subdued them and transported them to the Rampura Kotwali station. Charges have been filed against the man for public indecency, creating disturbance, and eloping with a minor.

A recording of the incident has spread rapidly across social media platforms. The event has left community members discussing and raised concerns about youth unrest in the region. Many internet commentators condemned it as irresponsible behavior that jeopardized public safety.
