14-Year-Old Orphan Girl Sexually Assaulted by Uncle in Uttar Pradesh: Police Investigation and Arrest Details

Police authorities have apprehended a man accused of sexually assaulting his 14-year-old niece, who was subsequently sent for medical evaluation.

In a disturbing incident reported from Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh, a 14-year-old orphan girl was allegedly raped by her uncle at his residence on Wednesday, according to local police officials.

Circle Officer Dr. Ravishankar stated that the assault occurred when the girl was alone at home, as her aunt was away from the premises at the time.

The victim, who had been residing with her uncle's family following her mother's death and her father's disappearance approximately two years ago, reported that the 35-year-old man physically assaulted her when she attempted to resist his advances. Police officials further noted that the accused threatened the girl with severe consequences if she disclosed the incident.

According to authorities, a female neighbor assisted the traumatized survivor in reaching the police station to file an official complaint against her uncle.

Based on the girl's statement, law enforcement officials have registered a case under section 63 (rape) and section 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with relevant provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against the accused.

The police have successfully apprehended the accused, while the minor victim has been sent for a comprehensive medical examination as part of the investigation process.
