Maharashtra's 'Car In Sea': A Rolls Royce Boat Turning Heads At Juhu Beach

Maharashtra's coastline is showcasing an innovative new attraction that's capturing widespread attention. A vessel shaped like a Rolls Royce is now cruising through the Arabian Sea, drawing substantial crowds to Juhu beach and quickly becoming one of the area's most notable tourism innovations.

This distinctive watercraft, commonly referred to as the "car in the sea," provides both locals and tourists with a luxury-themed marine experience typically found only in international destinations. The creative mind behind this unique attraction is Pramod Pawar, who transformed a concept he observed during a visit to a Dubai beach into an exciting local adventure for Maharashtra.

Pawar discovered the inspiration during his travels to Dubai, where similar luxury-themed boats are common attractions. Upon returning home, he brought with him detailed sketches, observations, and determination to create something specifically designed for local waters.

The development team extensively modified the vessel to handle the specific conditions of Maharashtra's coastline, including tidal patterns and safety requirements. The end result is a premium vessel that accommodates five passengers and can travel up to 1.8 nautical miles offshore.

The boat features various amenities including onboard music systems, luxurious interiors, and even shower facilities for visitors returning from their sea adventure.

Maharashtra already offers most internationally recognized water sports, ranging from jet skiing to parasailing. However, with attractions like the "car boat," industry officials and operators aim to elevate the experience to complete international standards.

The team behind the Rolls Royce vessel has plans for further expansion, including introducing flyboarding and additional boat variants inspired by Ferrari and Lamborghini designs.

"Our goal is for visitors to experience truly international-quality attractions right here," explained Vijay, the manager overseeing operations.

Pawar emphasizes that this innovation represents just the beginning of a new trend. "We intend to continue introducing numerous new water sports options to our coastal areas," he stated.

He also highlighted the importance of government support for such entrepreneurial endeavors. "I was fortunate to witness this concept in Dubai and bring it home, but not everyone has such opportunities, which limits innovation potential. The government should provide greater encouragement for these kinds of attractions to increase tourism."
