Located atop the scenic Kailasagiri Hilltop, this engineering achievement provides visitors with an incomparable, heart-racing view that solidifies the city's position on India's adventure tourism map.

A brilliant addition to the port city known as the Jewel on the East Coast, the Rs 7 crore skywalk is anticipated to enhance the December holiday season for tourists seeking excitement.

At an impressive length of 50 meters, this structure claims the title of India's longest cantilever glass skywalk, meaning a substantial portion extends from the cliff face without underlying support, creating a genuine floating-in-air sensation.

Positioned at 862 feet above ground and approximately 1,000 feet above sea level, the transparent floor delivers an unobstructed, vertigo-inducing view of the valley below. However, the most spectacular feature is the panoramic 360-degree vista: one side reveals the vast, glistening expanse of the Bay of Bengal stretching to the horizon, while the other showcases the city's vibrant skyline meeting the lush, undulating slopes of the Eastern Ghats.

Photography enthusiasts and adventure seekers will particularly appreciate the "golden hour" views during sunrise and sunset, when the glass reflects the coastal sky's changing colors.

Safety remains the paramount consideration. The structure utilizes high-quality, triple-layered, 40-mm tempered laminated glass imported from Germany, supported by 40 tonnes of reinforced steel. This robust construction is engineered to withstand the region's powerful coastal climate conditions and high wind velocities, reassuring visitors as they step onto the transparent platform.

To ensure a quality visitor experience, the skywalk regulates entry to small groups of approximately 20-40 people initially for a 10-15 minute walk, preventing overcrowding and allowing everyone sufficient time to absorb the magnificent scenery.
