Fatal Bee Attack Claims Life of 62-Year-Old Retired Police Officer in Uttar Pradesh

A 62-year-old retired police officer lost his life following a severe bee attack on Sunday in Uttar Pradesh, according to local officials.

The tragic incident occurred in Kinoudi Khairabad village located in the Aliganj area when the victim was working on his agricultural land.

Atar Singh was irrigating his fields alongside his sons when he was suddenly swarmed by a large number of aggressive bees, as reported by family members.

The victim suffered multiple bee stings across his body, causing him to immediately collapse at the scene.

Singh was immediately transported to the Community Health Centre in an unconscious condition, where medical professionals pronounced him dead upon arrival, according to Dr. Akhlaq Khan, Medical Officer at the Aliganj Community Health Centre.

Dr. Khan explained that bee attacks can become deadly within minutes, especially in cases where victims receive hundreds of stings simultaneously, overwhelming the body's defenses.
