Fatal Mercedes G63 Crash Near South Delhi's Ambience Mall Kills Restaurant Worker, Injures Two Others

The driver of the luxury Mercedes G63, 29-year-old Shivam from Karol Bagh, has been taken into custody by authorities.

A tragic incident unfolded in a upscale Delhi neighborhood last night when a high-speed Mercedes vehicle struck three individuals, killing one and injuring two others. The accident occurred shortly after midnight near Ambience Mall in the Vasant Kunj area, according to police reports. The Mercedes G63 lost control before hitting a pole and then crashing into three people who were waiting at an auto stand nearby.

Police officers quickly arrived at the scene and found the victims lying injured. They immediately transported them to a nearby hospital. Tragically, 23-year-old Rohit from Chamoli, Uttarakhand, was pronounced dead upon arrival. The other two victims, aged 35 and 23, are currently receiving medical treatment for their injuries.

All three victims were employees at a restaurant located within Ambience Mall.

Police have arrested 29-year-old Shivam, a resident of Karol Bagh, who was driving the Mercedes G63 at the time of the accident. Authorities confirmed that appropriate legal action will be taken. At the time of the collision, Shivam was accompanied by his wife and elder brother in the vehicle.

Initial investigations suggest that the G63 lost control due to a road diversion, causing it to hit a pole before crashing into the three mall restaurant workers.

Shivam and his family members were reportedly returning from a wedding celebration when the accident occurred. The Mercedes G63 belongs to Shivam's friend Abhishek. The vehicle carries a Himachal Pradesh registration with the plate number HP11D0060.
