The family quickly transported him to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals pronounced him deceased.

Aditya Verma, a joint director at the Defence Research and Development Organisation in Mysuru, was discovered dead at his residence in Alwar, Rajasthan, just two days following his wedding ceremony, according to police reports.

Verma had married on November 25. On November 27 morning, he was found unconscious in his home bathroom.

His family immediately rushed him to a local medical facility, where doctors confirmed his death.

The deceased scientist had been working at DRDO's food research laboratory, having joined the organization merely two months prior.

According to family accounts, Aditya entered the bathroom around 5:30 am on November 27. When he hadn't emerged by 6 am, his mother alerted his father.

They forced the door open and discovered Aditya unconscious in the bathroom before rushing him to the hospital.

Assistant Sub Inspector Samay Khan from the Shivaji Park police station in Alwar stated, "We received information that Aditya Verma had been taken to the hospital and were requested to conduct a postmortem. Aditya's father informed us that his son had married on November 25. The bride arrived home on the 26th, and on the morning of the 27th, when he went to the bathroom, he did not come out."

"The bathroom door was locked from inside, and the family broke it open before rushing him to the hospital. Aditya was employed as a DRDO scientist and had married a police officer's daughter. The postmortem has been completed, and the viscera sample has been collected and forwarded to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL). The parents haven't implicated anyone in their police statement," the officer added.

Prem Saini, the medical jurist participating in the postmortem team at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Alwar, informed NDTV: "Determining the cause of death is impossible until we receive the viscera report results."

In a separate incident from Uttar Pradesh, another DRDO officer was found dead in Lucknow in October.

Akashdeep Gupta, 30, passed away on October 21 after suddenly falling ill. He had been married for approximately six months and was working on a missile mission at DRDO.

"There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Akashdeep's death, and we harbor no doubts about it. He had come home for vacation and was scheduled to return to duty the following day. After dinner, when he retired to bed, he complained of gas discomfort. The postmortem report revealed nothing unusual. He had a heart blockage. It was a marriage based on love," Akashdeep's father, Kuldeep Gupta, told NDTV.
