A Chinese national, Chao Xu, has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the UK after pleading guilty to 24 sexual offenses committed over three years. British police described him as "one of the most prolific sex offenders of all time," as he drugged and assaulted victims while recording his crimes with hidden cameras. With seven identified victims and potentially hundreds more, Xu must serve a minimum of 14 years according to the Woolwich Crown Court ruling.
