A municipal vehicle in Kerala's Palakkad district fell into a river moments after its inauguration ceremony, with both occupants escaping unharmed. The vehicle, intended for Vadakkanchery Municipality's reusable materials collection center, lost control following the flag-off ceremony led by Municipal Chairman PN Surendran. Quick action by staff members helped rescue the passengers before the vehicle was later retrieved from the water.
