Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched a scathing attack on Army Chief General Asim Munir from prison, accusing him of implementing disastrous policies that have increased terrorism and damaged relations with Afghanistan. Khan claims he is being subjected to psychological torture through solitary confinement despite court orders allowing family and legal visits. The 73-year-old Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder has been imprisoned since August 2023 on multiple charges he describes as fabricated.
