Pakistan's China-built Hangor-class submarine program remains on track for 2026 induction, according to Admiral Naveed Ashraf. The eight-submarine deal includes technology transfer with four vessels being assembled in Pakistan. This collaboration extends beyond submarines to include Type 054A/P frigates and future technologies, strengthening maritime security in the Indian Ocean region while supporting the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
