Election Commission Announces Phase Two of Special Intensive Revision Covering 12 States and UTs

The Election Commission has launched phase two of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls across 12 states and Union Territories including West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. This significant electoral exercise will encompass 51 crore voters with enumeration beginning November 4. This marks the first comprehensive revision of voter lists in over 21 years, with Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar overseeing the process.
