Jyoti Manjhi, a sitting MLA from Barachatti and Hindustan Awam Morcha candidate, claimed she was attacked during her election campaign, but police investigations revealed no evidence supporting these allegations. A Special Investigation Team has been formed to further investigate the incident that reportedly occurred near Shobh Bazaar flyover, while medical examinations at Gaya's Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital showed no injuries.
Jitan Ram Manjhi Demands 15 Seats for Hindustan Awam Morcha in Bihar NDA Alliance

Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has threatened to withdraw his Hindustan Awam Morcha from contesting the upcoming Bihar elections if not allocated at least 15 seats, while still remaining in the NDA alliance. BJP chief JP Nadda has reportedly reached out to address the tension as NDA's seat-sharing formula remains unannounced with JDU and BJP expected to contest approximately 100 seats each.
