Jan Suraaj Party, led by former poll strategist Prashant Kishor, has accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's government of diverting Rs 14,000 crore from World Bank funds to finance pre-election benefits, despite their electoral defeat. The allegations come as the NDA secured a decisive victory with 202 seats, while the opposition Mahagathbandhan managed only 35 seats in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections that witnessed record 66% voter turnout.
