The deal supports India's recent order of 97 Tejas aircraft worth over Rs 62,370 crore, with deliveries scheduled between 2027-2032, advancing the nation's self-reliance in defense manufacturing while HAL simultaneously expands into civil aviation through collaboration on the SJ-100 regional aircraft.
