The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced Rs 10 lakh compensation for families of each victim who died in the accidental explosion at Nowgam police station in Srinagar. The compensation will come from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, with Rs 1 lakh allocated for severely injured victims.
