Centre Approves Rs 1,950 Crore Disaster Relief Fund to Karnataka and Maharashtra for Monsoon Flood Recovery

The Indian government has allocated Rs 1,950.80 crore as the second installment of disaster relief funds to Karnataka and Maharashtra to assist recovery efforts following severe monsoon flooding. This is part of a larger national disaster response initiative that has already distributed over Rs 13,600 crore to affected states, with comprehensive support including 199 NDRF teams deployed across India.
