    The Jammu and Kashmir government has initiated a comprehensive heritage craft preservation program offering courses across polytechnic colleges and ITIs. This Chief Minister's Scheme will provide 500 students with specialized training in seven traditional crafts, monthly stipends of Rs 1,000, and instructor compensation to safeguard cultural heritage while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for the region's youth.
