A 31-year-old woman, Sakiyna Thompson, has been convicted of first-degree murder for killing her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend, Kayla Hodgson, in Florida. The jury determined that jealousy was the motive after Thompson had been blocked on social media by Hodgson. Despite claiming self-defense and blacking out during the incident, evidence showed Thompson traveled from New York to Florida for the confrontation, changed into the victim's clothes afterward, and attempted to clean the crime scene.
