IndiGo has confirmed an order for 30 additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft, doubling its wide-body fleet commitment to 60 planes as part of its international expansion strategy. The aircraft will be powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84 engines and are expected to begin joining the fleet from 2027, complementing the airline's existing long-haul operations with leased Boeing 787 Dreamliners and upcoming A321XLR services to Athens.
