A 42-year-old Polish woman named Mirella has been discovered after being allegedly held captive by her parents for 27 years in Swietochlowice, Poland. Rescued in severely malnourished condition in July, her story only became public in October. Neighbors who heard disturbances alerted police, leading to her rescue from a situation where her parents had claimed she went missing at age 15.
