Heroic Elderly Couple Attempted to Stop Gunman During Deadly Bondi Beach Attack

A newly released video shows Boris and Sofia Gurman, an elderly couple, bravely attempting to disarm one of the attackers during the deadly Bondi Beach shooting that claimed 15 lives. The couple, along with fruit shop owner Ahmed al-Ahmed who also confronted the gunmen, are being honored for their heroism in the face of what Australian authorities have classified as an Islamic State-inspired terrorist attack.
