The Central Railway has officially renamed Aurangabad railway station to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with the new code 'CPSN'. This change follows the city's renaming three years ago, honoring Chhatrapati Sambhaji, son of Shivaji Maharaj. The historic station, established in 1900, serves as a gateway to UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the Ajanta and Ellora Caves.
