High-Ranking Maoist Commander with Rs 5 Lakh Bounty Surrenders in Jharkhand Under 'Nai Disha' Policy

Two senior Maoist commanders from the Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad (JJMP) have surrendered to authorities in Latehar district. One of them, Brajesh Yadav, carried a Rs 5 lakh bounty on his head. Both insurgents surrendered under the state government's 'Nai Disha' rehabilitation policy, which provides benefits to former extremists and their families.
