22-Year-Old Man Attempts Suicide in UP Police Custody by Slitting Throat with Blade

A 22-year-old man named Shivam Singh attempted suicide by cutting his throat with a blade while in police custody at Manikpur police station in Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh. Following the incident, the Station House Officer was suspended and an investigation launched. The youth, detained for alleged motorcycle theft, was rushed to AIIMS Raebareli in critical condition.
