Hyderabad authorities have dismantled a sophisticated multi-state movie piracy network that caused Rs 3,700 crore in losses to the Telugu film industry. The operation, which used cryptocurrency for all transactions, involved server hacking and in-theater recording techniques. Five suspects were arrested, including the mastermind behind 1TamilBlasters who earned over Rs 2 crore from illegal film distribution since 2020.
