2 Dead Following Heavy Rainfall in Kerala: IMD Issues Orange Alert for 5 Districts

Heavy rainfall and strong winds across Kerala have resulted in two fatalities and widespread waterlogging. The IMD has issued an orange alert for five districts predicting rainfall between 115.6mm to 204mm, while seven districts remain under yellow alert. A fisherman died after his boat capsized and another man was killed by lightning as authorities warn of continued intense rainfall and advise fishermen against venturing into the sea.
