UP Man Sentenced to Life Imprisonment for Beheading Wife and Displaying Severed Head in Village

A court in Barabanki has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for brutally murdering his wife by beheading her and then walking through the village with her severed head. The horrific crime, which occurred last year in Bhooliganj village, resulted in a Rs 25,000 fine alongside the life term. According to family members, the convict, Anil Kumar, had a history of harassing his wife Vandana, with whom he had two children.
