A high-ranking female Maoist operative named Sunita has surrendered in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh. Carrying a Rs 14-lakh bounty, she was active across three states and served as a guard for a senior Communist Party leader. This marks the first surrender under MP's new 2023 rehabilitation policy and the first interstate Maoist surrender since 1992.
