Apple Appoints Amar Subramanya as New Vice President of AI, Replacing John Giannandrea

Apple has named veteran researcher Amar Subramanya as its new vice president of AI, replacing John Giannandrea. Coming from Microsoft, Subramanya will lead Apple's Foundation Models and ML research, reporting to Craig Federighi as the company works to catch up with competitors in implementing AI features across its product lineup.
