Bihar Election Commission Mandates Pre-Certification for Print Ads During 2025 Assembly Polls

The Election Commission of India has issued a notification requiring pre-certification for all political print advertisements during the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections. The restrictions apply to November 5-6 for Phase I and November 10-11 for Phase II, with applications due two days before publication. The Commission has also mandated paid holidays for all employed voters on polling days.
