Mohammed Azharuddin Appointed as Minorities Welfare Minister in Telangana Cabinet

Former cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin has been appointed as Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises Minister in Telangana's Cabinet, becoming the first Muslim face in Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's government. The 62-year-old Congress leader, who currently serves as working president of TPCC, was sworn in on October 31, bringing the Cabinet strength to 16 members.
