Delhi Metro Launches Construction of New Golden Line with 8 Stations and 3 Strategic Interchanges

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has officially begun construction on the Golden Line-11, connecting Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block. This fully elevated corridor will feature eight stations and transform Lajpat Nagar into a triple-interchange hub, enhancing connectivity across South Delhi and serving densely populated residential areas. By 2041, the line is projected to handle over 1.2 lakh passengers daily.
