India Proposes Preferential Trade Agreement with Mexico to Counter New Tariffs on $2 Billion Export Goods

India is pursuing a preferential trade agreement with Mexico to offset newly announced steep tariffs ranging from 5% to 50% that will affect approximately $2 billion of Indian exports starting January 2026.
