A 32-year-old IIT Bombay alumnus faces legal charges after being caught secretly filming male students in hostel bathrooms. The electrical engineering MTech graduate, who completed his degree in July 2023, gained temporary campus access through a student recommendation before being apprehended by residents who discovered unauthorized recordings on his phone. Mumbai police have registered a case under the Information Technology Act as investigations continue.
