Massive Seizure: Over 15.7 Lakh Vials of Banned Cough Syrup Worth Rs 3.4 Crore Uncovered in Ghaziabad Operation

Ghaziabad Police and crime branch officials have conducted one of the largest pharmaceutical contraband seizures in recent years, confiscating over 15.7 lakh vials of banned cough syrup hidden in trucks at a Delhi-Meerut Road warehouse. Eight individuals were arrested in the operation that uncovered Eskuf, Phensedyl, and Tapentadol worth approximately Rs 3.4 crore, exposing an interstate and cross-border drug trafficking network extending to Bangladesh.
