The FBI has arrested Mahmoud Amin Ya'qub Al-Muhtadi, a Louisiana resident, for allegedly participating in Hamas' October 7, 2023 attack on Israel and subsequently obtaining a U.S. visa through fraud. According to the criminal complaint, Al-Muhtadi armed himself and led a group from Gaza into Israel during the attack that killed over 1,200 people.
