The Gujarat government has imposed an immediate ban on rolling papers and pre-rolled cones due to health hazards and concerns about youth substance abuse. The products, containing toxic chemicals like titanium oxide and potassium nitrate, were easily available at paan shops and grocery stores across the state. Violators will face charges under section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
