A 79-year-old American citizen, Rafie Shouhed, has filed a $50 million claim against the US government after being violently restrained by ICE agents during a raid on his Los Angeles car wash. Surveillance footage shows masked agents throwing him to the ground and allegedly ignoring his pleas about a heart condition. Shouhed was detained for nearly 12 hours despite officers acknowledging his citizenship status, and later required hospital treatment for broken ribs, elbow injuries, and traumatic brain injury.
