A 45-year-old former software engineer in Bengaluru took his own life following alleged harassment from civic officials and extortion demands of Rs 20 lakh. The victim's mother has filed a complaint against two individuals who allegedly colluded with Greater Bengaluru Authority officials, leading to her son's mental distress. Police are investigating the case based on evidence including a 10-page suicide note.
