AIIMS Delhi Clarifies: Surgeon Accused of Harassment Not Suspended But Removed from Department Leadership

AIIMS Delhi has clarified that Dr. AK Bisoi, head of Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery, has not been suspended despite harassment allegations from a female nursing officer. While retaining his position at the institution, his departmental leadership responsibilities have been reassigned to Dr. V Devagourou to ensure an impartial investigation into serious claims of workplace intimidation and derogatory language toward female staff.
