The Sanour MLA, who evaded police capture on September 2, appeared in an interview with an Australian Punjabi channel claiming political conspiracy behind the charges. A Patiala court has initiated proclaimed offender proceedings against him after a woman accused him of misrepresenting his marital status and sexual exploitation.
