Firdous Sheikh Named Primary Suspect in Durgapur Medical Student Gang Rape Case

A second-year medical student from Odisha was allegedly gang raped in Durgapur, West Bengal on October 10, with Firdous Sheikh identified as the main accused. Five others, including the survivor's boyfriend and classmate, were named as co-accused, with the classmate described as the "main conspirator." All six accused have been denied bail and will remain in judicial custody until October 31.
