The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has announced 143 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, revealing tensions within the Mahagathbandhan alliance as they fielded candidates in four constituencies already claimed by Congress. With Tejashwi Yadav contesting from Raghopur and notable candidates including Bhojpuri actor Khesari Lal Yadav, the party aims to improve on its 2020 performance when it won 75 seats. Bihar votes in two phases on November 6 and 11, with results on November 14.
