Fatal Medical Helicopter Crash in Tennessee: One Dead and Two Critically Injured in Vanderbilt LifeFlight Accident

A Vanderbilt LifeFlight medical helicopter crashed east of Nashville, Tennessee, resulting in one crew member's death and two others being critically injured. The 2015 Airbus EC130T2 went down in a field between Lebanon and Gallatin, approximately 22 miles from Nashville. The National Transportation Safety Board has initiated an investigation into the accident that occurred after only eight minutes of flight time.
