Ahmedabad's Massive Water and Drainage Infrastructure Overhaul to Benefit 1 Million Residents

Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority has launched an ambitious infrastructure project covering 4,000 hectares to solve the city's persistent water and drainage issues. The comprehensive upgrade includes new pipelines, treatment plants, and stormwater systems across 24 Town Planning schemes, benefiting nearly 10 lakh residents while preparing the city for potential international sporting events like the Commonwealth Games 2030 and Olympics 2036.
