23 Candidates Lose Deposits in J&K Bypolls Including Ruling National Conference Nominee

In recent Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly bypolls, 23 candidates including the ruling National Conference nominee from Nagrota lost their security deposits after failing to secure the minimum required 16.67% of valid votes. BJP's Devyani Rana won in Nagrota while NOTA received more votes than eleven candidates across both constituencies.
